Finally a love interest for me !

Love is life - whenever i read this i wonder what's wrong with me ? It has always been a mystery for me how people fall in love, and even today i haven't made any significant breakthrough towards solving it. I have witnessed many Valentine's days during my college days. I could see girls and boys wandering around the Campus with Pink roses in hands and rosier feelings in their hearts but never was lucky enough to behold the magical moment (as in love stories and romantic movies) of proposing the opposite sex. You would say I was just unlucky but i think there was an international conspiracy to save me from the fool's paradise called Love.

Anyway, its the same indian society around me as we are passing through 9th year of 21st century. Its a rainless monsoon evening and i am as lonely as ever at my residence trying to write about my current love interest -SMOKING !!

Shocked, aren't you ??!!!

(i think i should let the shock feeling sink in for a few days, then i can get you to the place where love is in the air.. oops i mean smoke dances in the air surrounding me !)

One more week passed, our affair has already reached its peak of intensity. I want to kiss her as soon as i get out of bed every morning. Actually i betray my sleep to romance with her on most of the occasions.

Lost in the labyrinth of the equity derivatives, I forgot to plan the Diwali vacation this year & got infinitely bored in the Diwali week. Go, Goa, Not Gone

                The trilogy that began with a Daman trip in the year 2019 - halted due to the Corona chapter in the year 2020 & achieved another milestone in 2021 with the Diu trip - was looking forward to its apt conclusion on the beaches of Goa & finally it did happen in the scorching hot month of May 2023. May 5, 2023             So, the month of May 2023 marked the much-awaited trip to Goa which turned out to be quite dull apart from the thrill of first flight of my life & first loss of bag at the ripe age of 43. Also, it was my first airport lounge access after years of having many cards with lounge access. The coffee was good but the flight timing was not right so once again there was no free lunch for me. Valley of the Gods via Queen of the hills

May the month of May never come again is the wish we make every year & yet it does come back with seemingly more power. The power we know we can only hide from - behind walls cooled by ACs/coolers or inside airconditioned cars. Staying out becomes bare minimum to save our skin but there comes a point when we miss the feel of the outside world & that makes an excellent excuse for a trip to a cool hill station. The wanderlust in me has become so overpowering that having no savings at all couldn't stop me from planning a summer escape away from the scorching heat.
