On the World Telecom Day

i ve to confess that even after getting a degree in Electronics and Communications, i dont have much affection for the world of communications. i mean i am not much passionate about the technical world of communications !

Epilogue :
It is July 29,2009.
I have been shuttling back and forth between my residence and office since October 2006 till this evening as i am trying to convert this post into a soul searching exercise ! There's something about Paresh that i have been struggling to comprehend for last few years. This is the age when the latest mobile handset is termed as outdated in just six months and here is a man who thinks and acts the same way as he was doing ten years back ! I just remember a day from year 1997 when i was standing at the window of my home just observing passers-by, especially a sweet looking girl enjoying a walk with her dog. Many calenders have been torn and used as wallpapers in the middle-class homes of india after that incidence and yet i get the same feeling when i see someone having the pleasure of a walk with his/her dog.
Moral of the story : Every dog has his day but some steal others' days and stay in limelight forever !

Lost in the labyrinth of the equity derivatives, I forgot to plan the Diwali vacation this year & got infinitely bored in the Diwali week.           The quarterly alarm started ringing in my head from the beginning of September as 3 months had elapsed since my last tour of Goa & as per my personal new normal, a holiday was due. So after exploring all the suitable options, a package tour of Kerala offered by Yatra was booked.           The selection was done due to the variety of attractions available in the same trip - hill station of Munnar, Jungle safari at Thekkady, beach at Alleppey. Valley of the Gods via Queen of the hills

May the month of May never come again is the wish we make every year & yet it does come back with seemingly more power. The power we know we can only hide from - behind walls cooled by ACs/coolers or inside airconditioned cars. Staying out becomes bare minimum to save our skin but there comes a point when we miss the feel of the outside world & that makes an excellent excuse for a trip to a cool hill station.
